Brother Calvin’s Charity Foundation: for poverty and democracy
The idea of a charity fund for those in poverty and democratic causes began one day on November 2008 when a dollar was founded on the floor at the office and it was offered to Calvin. No knowing what to do with the dollar, Calvin suggested to donate it to a good cause. But there was no organization near by in the office to take such offer, so an idea popped in Calvin’s head and he created Brother Calvin’s Charity Foundation. However, there was one problem, Calvin needed a collection box for donation. A suitable collection box was discovered at Wendy’s, his co-worker sitting at the desk in front of him, desk on 19th November 2008. The donation collection box was officially launched in 20th November 2008. Sadly, the original dollar coin is no longer with us. It had been lost, stolen or spent by an unknown person.
